| 2009 AGM
An enjoyable AGM for Ware Riding Club was held on Wednesday 11 March 2009 at 7.30pm at Great Amwell Parish Hall and was attended by approximately 50 members and visitors. Presentation of the Annual Points Championships Trophies were made to the following members: Senior Showjumping Belle Brocks Brookmills Mirror Image 11 points Junior Showjumping Sharni Bailey Painted Lady 18 points Senior Showing Gill Reed Ada Coles Kussan 23 points Junior Showing Charlotte Cassar Maenen Tom Jones 26 points

Terry’s Catering Trophy, given to someone who has supported the club over the year was awarded to Thomas Clark and the trophy for the most improved newcomer went to twins Charlotte and Ellie Just

Following the official business of the Club, a talk was given by Jason Tupper, Head of Equine Practise at the Royal Veterinary College, Potters Bar on ‘First Aid for Horses’. This was accompanied by a very graphic slide show!
The evening concluded with the mini quiz where ex committee and honorary members scooped the prizes again. |
