Much to our surprise, we were complimented on our organisational abilities from quite a few people despite the lack of helpers on the day. The turnout was exceptionally good considering there were other well adverstised events on the day and by 8.30 there was a growing queue outside the secretary's tent. The showing classes were particularly well subscribed and as the sun rose higher in the sky and the temperature soared, there were quite a few red arms and shoulders to be seen (although these belonged to spectators and judges).

Le Click photographers unfortunately had a problem with their caravan which prevented them from attending, but they have assured us that they will be with us for the Children's Fun Show.

The showjumping course was given a once over by Geoff Quinlan who made a few alterations to make the competition even more exciting, and his knowledge and expertise inspired even those not taking part themselves. A big thank you to him!

And as usual, grateful thanks go out to all our helpers on the day - as always appreciated - and hope that everyone had a good day, whether helping, watching or competing.
