2008 AGM
A successful and enjoyable Annual General Meeting for Ware Riding Club was held on Wednesday 12 March 2008 at 7.30pm and was attended by approximately 50 members and visitors.
Presentation of the Annual Points Championships Trophies were made to the following members:

Junior Showjumping
Fin Frederick - Whisky on the Rocks - 79 points

Jade Short - Hadfre Hallmark - 81 points

Terry’s Catering Trophy was awarded to Carol Rushton and the trophy for the most improved newcomer went to Jodie Hanniver for making a continued effort throughout the year and supporting the club even when not competing
A laptop was set up demonstrating the new website which was viewed with great interest

Following the official business of the Club, a talk was given by Geoff Quinlan, professional course builder and instructor, on Course Design for Different Standards. This was very popular and Geoff stayed until the end of the evening answering questions and enjoying the competitiveness of everyone who stayed for the Mini Quiz. This ended in a draw between the Dormon Family and the team comprising of many ex committee and honorary members.
