2007 Sponsored Horse Ride in aid of Isabel Hospice

On Sunday 24^th June we held our annual Sponsored Horse ride. This year it was in aid of the Isabel Hospice. The weather did not prevent the event being a huge success with approx. 80 horses and riders completing a 6 or 12 mile route starting and finishing from Moles Farm in Ware. This included 2 riders aged 6 completing the 6 mile route together with a Shetland pony and a dog being lead round.  See www.leclickphoto.com for all the photographs taken on the day.

Thomas Clark (pictured above) aged 6, riding his pony Flecks collected the most individual sponsorship of £422 and wins the Cancara Trophy donated by Lloyds Bank. The total money collected was a huge £2,250 and this will be presented to a representative from the Isabel Hospice at our Open Show on 9th September. Thanks to all Stewards and helpers on the day who braved the rain and still managed to smile!
