2007 Annual Open Show

As usual, the turnout for the 17th Annual Ware Riding Club Open Show was exceptional.  And the sun came out to smile whilst our Chair, Lisa presented the cheque for £2276.oo raised from our sponsored ride to Barbara from Isabel Hospice.

Showing again proved immensely popular and standards high.  One of our judges commented that it was rewarding to see such a marked improvement in competitors from earlier in the year.  Obviously everyone has been working very hard since the beginning of the year to improve, and all that hard work has paid off.

For a full selection of photos' from the day, see www.leclickphoto.com who we thank again as they have provided a few for our website.  Lots of happy faces and quite a few new faces too.  In particular Lauren Lawton with Walantina and Kate Waldock-Smith with Super Star who won the IN HAND  CHAMPIONSHIP and the RIDDEN PONY CHAMPIONSHIP respectively.  This is the first time that both Lauren and Kate with these ponies have competed at Ware Riding Club. Well done to them both and a huge well done to everyone who went home with a trophy or rosette.
