CHILTERN EQUINE CLINIC CTR CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER RULES
Membership.
Competitors must have a membership number which must be
quoted on entry form. If you do not have a membership number, you cannot qualify. If the winner does not have a membership number or the winner has already qualified, the qualification goes down the line as far as 4th place. Competitors can purchase their membership for the 2010 season from CT Rider (01582 748981/2) or visit www.chilternrider.co.uk/Membership/showmembers.hmt to purchase on line at a cost of £14.
Eligibility.
Horses and ponies who have qualified for or competed at HOYS (except SEIB Search for a Star), Royal International Horse Show or Olympia in the years 2008, 2009 or 2010 are not eligible for the C&T Rider Championships. This does not include non-qualifier classes at RIHS. Thoroughbreds who qualify for the ROR finals at Hickstead also cannot qualify for the Championships, again in the years 2008, 2009, 2010. This Championship is aimed at keen and competitive amatuers, not professionals. Stallions must be handled and ridden by people who have attained their 14th birthday on 1st January 2010.
Qualification
can pass down the line - as far as 4th place. There must be five or more competitors in the class for the qualification to pass down below 2nd place. Judges do not award Q cards or sign cards. Correct reporting of the results of each class, passed on to CT Rider by the show secretaries will suffice. CT Rider will then award the qualifications as per the rules and inform the competitors by email. Please do not enter qualifying classes if your horse or pony is not eligible. You will get spotted. In 2006 and 2007 a horse and pony were disqualified which is embarrassing and causes a lot of problems.
